We were visiting my family in Houston this week. It was the perfect time of year to visit with temps warmer than we have here in PA, but not too hot yet! We are glad to be home again now and back in our routine. Here’s what I read this week!
From blogs:
- From Teri Lynne, 10 Werses from the Psalms for the Dark Days. I mentioned last week I was hanging out in Psalms and Job, and loved this encouragement.
- We have been watching this YouTube video over and over: Dark Lord Funk: Harry Potter Parody of “Uptown Funk.” There’s also a behind the scenes video we liked too.
- 30 Copy Editors Tell Us Their Pet Peeves from BuzzFeed. It’s fun to see what drives other editors nuts too!
From books (affiliate links included):
I finished Speaker for the Dead this week, from the Ender series. It was perfect for a quick, entertaining read. I am currently reading Give and Take: Why Helping Others Drivers Our Success and The Opposite of Spoiled: Raising Kids Who Are Grounded, Generous, and Smart about Money.
From the Bible:
For the first time I’m reading along with the She Reads Truth devotional app. I’m enjoying it!
Thank you for including my post! I’m reading From Good to Grace right now based on your recommendation … loving it!!
